SWCW, LLC.

Strike & Walk Da Cup Welding, LLC., was born upon completion of welding school in 2017. Just recently last year we expanded our welding services to welding training as well. SWCW, LLC., is a woman, veteran owned and family operated business. Our leader recently resigned from Ivy Tech Community College, as a Welding Instructor and opened two training locations in Northwest Indiana with a third location coming soon to Gary, Indiana. This was a courageous, bold but very necessary decision to step soley out on faith. Mrs. Moffett is dedicated to changing and turning around the community and sorrounding areas of Gary, Indiana. Our schools are 100% Community driven! Even before our world was turned upside down with the COVID-19 drawback, the schools in this community were struggling. There is a wide spread of low moraled students and parents, low high school graduate rates, high crime rate and very few libraries/resources just to mention some of the issues. No matter the complications, here at SWCW, LLC., we still feel that Gary can make a comeback! We are determined to assist in bringing a positive change to the city of Gary and the surrounding communities at any means necessary. Our plan is to help develop the young minds and enhance the more matured minds into a more positive and meaningful direction and purpose. Our objective is to provide welding training with national AWS, API, ASME certifications, we want to implement out of the box and untraditional mentoring (holistic, inner self searching & more), monthly community service (physically cleaning up Gary/surrounding neighborhoods). We would also like to offer everyday life skills/survival lessons such as money management, human relations- strong communication skills, employability/soft skills are in a huge demand. Our intentions are to offer proper training so that students and parents will be able to obtain a stable career with financial stability and build great character within themselves along the way. Having a rewarding career and being a decent human being would provide multiple avenues for higher salaries, provide guidance to being a responsible person and to encourage confidence and strong self-esteem. Strike & Walk Da Cup Welding, LLC., will aim vigorously to push for more community involvement in hope to make this change for the children, senior citizens, young adults, woman and men of Norhtwest Indiana. We want to give back in way that will change the minds, hearts, and souls of every individual that crosses our path!
